Childhood ImmunisationHamilton Doctors urges parents to be proactive in protecting their children from preventable childhood diseases.

Each year there are outbreaks of Whooping Cough, Measles, Rubella and it's very important that we make sure that we prevent these outbreaks by protecting our children by immunising them.

Public Health Physician Doctor David Durrheim says children from the age of four need to be protected from many diseases and viruses that can breed in a school environment.

Over 600 children in the Hunter are not fully immunised...
Is your child one of them?

Childhood Immunisations can now be booked at any time throughout the day.  We encourage you to book an appointment with one of our Nurses at a time your usual treating GP is available”

Coronavirus defence

Cornoavirus Outbreak
How can we help prevent the spread of Coronavirus?

Practising good hand and sneeze/cough hygiene is the best defence against most viruses.

You should:

· wash your hands frequently with soap and water, before and after eating, and after going to the toilet

· cover your cough and sneeze, dispose of tissues, and use alcohol-based hand sanitiser

· and if unwell, avoid contact with others (touching, kissing, hugging, and other intimate contact).

Our practice is a privately billing practice, this means payment is expected on the day of service.

If you need to take an account a $20 fee will be added to your account to cover administration costs.

Secure Health Messges

Hamilton Doctors now sends secure health messages reminders via SMS Hotdocs when you need to book a result appointment.
